Sparkland Enters the Ring: Unveiling WWEEEE!

On February 1, 2025, Indianapolis became the epicenter of professional wrestling, hosting the biggest Royal Rumble in WWE history. This monumental event marked the first of three major stadium shows in an exciting partnership between WWE and Indiana Sports Corp, uniting the city’s civic, hospitality, and creative communities to deliver an unforgettable experience. And in true Indy fashion, we didn’t just welcome the WWE Universe—we tag-teamed to make history.

Fountain Fletcher: The Heart of the Hype

As thousands of fans descended upon Indianapolis, our Fountain Fletcher neighborhood transformed into a wrestling wonderland. The energy was off the charts, from the stunning Ringmasters mural by JD Bills on the Murphy Arts Building to a Superstar-studded HotBoys Spicy Tender challenge. Local businesses along Virginia Avenue joined the action with independent wrestling events, themed activations, and larger-than-life moments fit for the squared circle.

Winsome Wrestling Entertainment, Excitement + Education thru Ephemera

At Sparkland, we knew we had to bring something special to the table—so we proudly introduced WWEEEE!, an ephemera collection celebrating the art, history, and unmatched storytelling of professional wrestling. Our first edition paid tribute to one of Indiana’s own legends: WWE Hall of Famer Dick the Bruiser.

WWEEEE! features:

  • The Bruiser Bulletin – A kayfabe-style wrestling newspaper delivering an old-school insider’s perspective on the wild world of pro wrestling–packed with behind-the-curtain insights, vintage-inspired ads, and plenty of gut punches.
  • Legends of Indiana Wrestling – Oversized, bold, and as legendary as the wrestlers themselves, these Limited Edition “Jumbo” Trading Cards are keepsakes for wrestling fans and history buffs alike.

Welcome to the Main Event

WWEEEE! is set to evolve as WWE’s partnership with Indiana Sports Corp continues, with even more releases in the pipeline. Stay tuned—we’re just getting started.

Special thanks to our incredible design partners at Matinee Creative and magic-maker Kevin Lively for helping bring these projects to life.

See you in the ring, Indy!
